Who can apply for a PSARA License?
Any registered entity (Proprietorship, Partnership, Private Limited, or LLP) can apply. The directors/partners must be Indian citizens, of sound mind, and have no criminal record.
How long is the license valid?
The license is typically valid for 5 years in most states, but in states like Delhi, it is issued for 1 year and must be renewed regularly.
Is training mandatory for security guards?
Yes. All security guards must successfully complete a mandatory 100-hour training program (70 hours classroom + 30 hours field) from a recognized training institute.
